KOOLBLACK® has revolutionized the performance of dark color fabrics. Making dark fabrics up to 15° cooler! An elegant and distinctive vinyl coated fiberglass fabric featuring KOOLBLACK® Technology, a patented formulation that eliminates the trade-offs between aesthetics and performance by incorporating heat reflective properties into dark fabrics. Offers the same satin weave pattern as traditional T Screen™.
SheerWeave 2701, 2703, 2705 and 2710 offer excellent heat-reduction benefits and glare reduction. The two-sided fabrics can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications. Woven from a unique twill pattern that displaces the individual yarns to create a two-sided fabric for maximum performance in heat reduction, glare reduction and improved visibility.
The lightweight, vinyl-coated fiberglass fabrics provide the broadest range of performance in a non-directional fabric. Manufactured with ease of fabrication in mind, Styles 2500, 2410, 2390 and 2360 are full basketweaves designed expressly for those applications which require a more opaque and nondirectional fabric.
SheerWeave 4800 limits directional visibility to increase privacy while allowing natural light in the room. Woven from vinyl-coated polyester yarns Style 4800 is durable, easy to maintain and high performing with a robust construction that makes it ideal for heavy traffic areas and public spaces.
Cradle to Cradle CertifiedTM Bronze, Style 8000 is PVC-free and 100% recyclable. Maintaining outward views while allowing the use of natural daylighting makes Style 8000 the ideal sun control fabric for commercial roller shades where environmental sustainability is valued. With enhanced performance for reducing solar heat gain and material health rated, Style 8000 is eligible for LEED Material Ingredient Disclosure credits.
Benefits of Style 8000 include:
As the only sun control fabrics in the market to use DOW’s unique ECOLIBRIUM bio-based plasticizer, Styles 4001, 4400, 4000 and 4100 combine the durability of vinyl-coated polyester with the latest in green PVC technology. ECOLIBRIUM is a renewable alternative to traditional plasticizers that lowers greenhouse gas emissions as much as 40% vs existing PVC compounds. Styles 4001, 4400, 4000 and 4100 with DOW ECOLIBRIUM is phthalate-free, lead-free and RoHS compliant. These fabrics maintain all of the established benefits of traditional vinyl such as durability, cleanability and fabric longevity.
